Why us?

  • We can have conversations with students that teachers can’t.

We don’t mark students’ homework, we’re not part of the staff room and we don’t see students everyday. This allows us to have dynamic conversations with cohorts and create a distinct space to tackle difficult topics.

  • We are youth-led and experience focused. With a growing speaker network we offer role models to students and can have candid conversations with them as fellow young people.

We speak like students, look like students and can work with students because it wasn’t long ago that we were going through similar experiences ourselves.

  • We tailor our services to you and work closely with teaching staff on shared objectives.

We have the time and expertise to take what you’re envisioning and deliver it to your students efficiently and effectively.

  • We work with every student in mind and ensure that focusing on one topic doesn’t undermine the importance of others.

Working with us means supporting a future for everyone.

Working with External Agencies

Working with external agencies can enhance and support your existing curriculum and school initiatives. Not only do we support teachers in PSHE delivery, we offer students the chance to speak to young people on topics of social inclusion in a unique space that combines their voices with our experience.

Our approach is collaborative. We work with schools on these sessions, ensuring that all of our work is delivered to the highest quality and with the clearest intentions. It is important to us that our sessions are delivered as part of schools’ broader PSHE curriculums, complementing and aligning with existing work.

All of our sessions include:

  • A workshop outline where learning objectives and topics are confirmed

  • A workshop skeleton which breaks down the elements of a workshop

  • A copy of our resources before the session is delivered.

We always ask staff about vulnerable students, pastoral issues or cohort information that we should be aware of for a session. All of our sessions are delivered with clear content warnings and group boundaries, creating a safe space for students to learn.

Our team undergo basic safeguarding awareness training, and our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Amber Barrow, has an enhanced DBS and level 3 Safeguarding Training. All speakers will refer any concerns to their primary staff contact and our DSL. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like more details.
