In 2020, Amber had the idea to create a small exhibition on menstruation for their university’s student union….

“I received so many submissions of stories and embarrassing period anecdotes that people wanted to share, I knew I had to do something bigger. So I put a second call out for artists to donate menstruation-themed artwork and began to collate an academic planner. In December 2021, that planner was sold through community channels to raise £520 for a student-led charity Once A Month who combat period poverty.”
