Currency
All ticket prices for events that occur in the United States are stated in U.S. Dollars. All ticket prices for events that occur in Canada are stated in Canadian Dollars.
Convenience Charges and Order Processing Fees
Tickets purchased for The Collective Futures Project events are typically subject to a per-ticket convenience charge and a non-refundable per-order processing fee.
Refunds, Cancellations, and Lineup Policy
NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL.
Event dates, times, and details are subject to change. Tickets will not be refunded in case of inclement weather, or due to pandemic-related mandates. The artist, performer, and speaker lineup for any event is subject to change at any time without notice, and any such changes, order modifications, or cancellations within the lineup do not qualify for, or entitle the ticket holder to, a refund or exchange.
If an event is postponed or cancelled for any reason, your tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date. Should you be unable to attend the new date, you will have the option to defer the face value of the tickets you purchased to a subsequent edition of the event or a future event hosted by the company.
You agree that you will not attempt to evade, avoid, or circumvent those prohibitions in any manner with regard to tickets you purchased. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you will not dispute or otherwise seek a “chargeback” from the credit card company you used to purchase tickets. Should you do so, your tickets may be canceled, and The Collective Futures Project may, in its sole discretion, refuse to honor pending and future ticket purchases made from all credit card accounts or online accounts on which such chargebacks have been made, and may prohibit all persons in whose name the credit card accounts exist and any person who accesses any associated online account or credit card, or who otherwise breaches this provision, from utilizing our ticketing platforms.
Force Majeure
The Collective Futures Project shall not be liable, nor be required to issue refunds or compensation, for any delay, cancellation, postponement, or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms resulting from a "Force Majeure" event. This includes, but is not limited to: acts of God, severe or inclement weather, natural disasters, strikes, labor disputes, government orders, public health emergencies, pandemics, epidemics, terrorist threats, civil unrest, failure of technical facilities, artist or speaker travel delays/incapacity, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of management.
License; Ejection and Cancellation; No Redemption Value
Event Providers reserve the right, without refund or compensation of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, unsafe, or disruptive, who uses vulgar or abusive language, or who fails to comply with Event rules. A ticket is a revocable license, and admission may be refused or revoked at the sole discretion of management. Breach of terms or rules will immediately terminate your license to attend the event without a refund. A ticket is not redeemable for cash.
Age Restrictions and Identification
Attendees must comply with the specific age restrictions established for each individual event. For events designated as 19+ (Canada) or 21+ (United States), valid, government-issued photo identification (such as a passport or driver’s license) is strictly required for entry and the purchase or consumption of alcohol. Failure to provide appropriate identification upon request will result in denied entry to the event or designated areas without a refund or compensation.
Unlawful Re-Sale of Tickets; Commercial Purposes
Unlawful resale of tickets (or attempted resale) is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. A ticket shall not be used for advertising, promotions, contests, or sweepstakes, unless formal written authorization is given by the Event Provider. Even if such consent is obtained, any use of The Collective Futures Project’s trademarks and other intellectual property is subject to explicit written consent.
Confirmation of Order
Your e-ticket order is confirmed when we send you a confirmation, in the form of a confirmation page or email. If you do not receive an Order Confirmation or your e-ticket(s) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm via email whether or not your order has been placed prior to the event (please reach out to us at info@thecollectivefuturesproject.com to receive confirmation prior to the event).
We will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an e-ticket order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation. Further, we will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an e-ticket order was placed, but you failed to reach out to us to receive confirmation and/or a copy of your e-ticket(s).
Subject To Search
You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. Under certain facility rules, certain items may not be brought into the premises, including without limitation, alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, and weapons.
Allergens and Cross-Contamination Notice
Please note that our events feature foods and vendors that may utilize ingredients containing common allergens including nuts, seeds, gluten, and soy. While vendors may adhere to specific dietary standards, there may be cross-contamination at the facility or preparation level of production. If you have an allergy or food intolerance, please make the specific vendor or vendors you patronize at the event aware before ordering. The Collective Futures Project assumes no liability for adverse reactions to food or beverages consumed at the event.
Notice of Photographic and Media Recording
When you attend an event by The Collective Futures Project, you enter an area where photography, video, and audio recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to such recording media and its release, reproduction, exhibition, or publication to be used for promotional purposes, news, web and telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites and social media pages, and other commercial purposes.
By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by The Collective Futures Project or the person or entity designated to do so, and any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement.
You further release The Collective Futures Project, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video, and/or sound recordings.
Limitation of Liability
You assume all risks incidental to the event for which a ticket is issued, whether before, during, or after performance, and you waive any claims for personal injury or death against The Collective Futures Project, its management, officers, directors, owners, employees, or agents on behalf of yourself and any accompanying minor.
No in-person event is entirely risk-free. By attending the event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to contagious illnesses or pathogens and agree that you will not hold The Collective Futures Project liable for any resulting illness or injury. All local, state, provincial, and federal mandated protocols will be adhered to and all attendees must comply with all applicable regulations, requirements, and orders as they relate to mass gatherings and in-person events.
The holder of this ticket voluntarily acknowledges and assumes all risks related in any way to the event (including, without limitation, risks of personal injury, property loss and/or damage) arising or resulting from any cause whatsoever (including, without limitation, by performers, spectators, objects, and other inherent risks incidental to the event and negligence) and whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event.
Dispute Resolution: Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the purchase of tickets, or attendance at any event hosted by The Collective Futures Project shall be resolved exclusively through binding, individual arbitration, rather than in court.
You and The Collective Futures Project agree that each party may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
